Het prachtige boek Dream Dancers van Lenka Filonenko. Een boek wat sowieso op mijn lijstje stond toen ik haar aankondiging op social media zag. Het boek is gebonden in ringband, ideaal voor te kleuren omdat je het boek helemaal kan openslaan zonder enig probleem. Zo zouden eigenlijk alle boeken moeten zijn! En het papier is echt waanzinnig goed. Ontzettend dik papier van een top kwaliteit. Papier die echt wel wat aan kan. De bladzijdes zijn enkelzijdig gedrukt en bevatten prachtige platen.
The beautiful book Dream Dancers by Lenka Filonenko. A book that was on my list anyway when I saw her announcement on social media.
The book is bound in ring binder, ideal for coloring because you can open the book completely without any problem. That is how all books should be! And the paper is really amazing. Incredibly thick paper of a top quality. Paper that really can handle something. The pages are printed on one side and contain beautiful coloringpages.
Mijn oog viel op de cowgirl. Een stoere maar ook lieve plaat. De kleuren zaten meteen in mijn hoofd en ben ook direct begonnen aan deze plaat met Faber Castell Polychromos potloden.
Het maakt niet uit hoeveel laagjes over laagjes ik kleurde het papier gaf geen krimp. Het bleef glad en mooi. Ook bij enig druk met de potloden bleef het papier perfect.
My eye fell on the cowgirl. A tough but also sweet lady. The colors were immediately in my head and I started right away the same evening with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils.
No matter how many layers over layers I colored the paper did not get damages. It remained smooth and beautiful. Even with some pressure with the pencils, the paper remained perfect.

Bij maar een plaat kon ik het natuurlijk niet laten en koos daarna voor de Hawaii Hulu girl.
